The Kisan Mela aims to promote awareness amongst the rural & marginal tribal farmers of Ladakh about the latest technological developments in farming, post-harvest techniques, value addition methods, Financial Schemes, Networking, and Start-up & Entrepreneurship Opportunities. Also, the Mela shall bring together the key players of the agribusiness to strengthen the future of the Ladakh agriculture sector.
This Mela will be a first-of-its-kind in Ladakh where STI Hub shall engage agricultural experts from the pool of Scientists & Academicians. The experts in the domain of Finance/Funds & various govt. schemes shall be engaged from the organizations like IFFCO, NABARD, SBI, etc. Also, the industry and start-ups shall be engaged to demonstrate the latest products & innovations for addressing the need of farmers.
